Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast is a celebrated cantata by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, premiered in 1898.
Celebrating the union of Hiawatha and Minnehaha, it is filled with imagery of nature and Native American culture. The music captures the joyous atmosphere of the wedding with vibrant choral sections and lyrical melodies.
Rehearsals are on Thursday’s at St Andrew’s Church, Furnace Green from 7.45pm-9.45pm (during term time).

I’m a professional tenor and contracted full time to Welsh National Opera, born and bred in Forest Row. Can I send my CV and website to somebody with regards to maybe working together in the future? My school concerts used to be in the Hawth, and I’ve done numerous operas there since, but no other concerts there since being a treble and singing Elijah aged 11!
